Formula Overview

The Shadowsticks are “powerfully-pigmented” that has “one-swipe coverage” that will last for over 10 hours. Most shades had semi-opaque color coverage with a few shades being buildable or starting with nearly opaque pigmentation in one stroke.
The texture was smooth, lightly creamy without being overly wet, and comfortable to work with across the eyelid. They were a bit tacky initially but once set, they were more budge-proof and would lift if one attempted to blend or diffuse later on, so working quickly would be ideal.
For an all-over wash of the more shimmery and neutral shades, I found that they were pretty easy to work with, but there was a slight learning curve. For the bolder and more matte shades, they were easier to use eyeliner or in a graphic shape/base for other products.
Once in place, the Shadowsticks typically lasted between 10 and 12 hours on me with a few of the more emollient/sheerer shades being on the shorter-wearing end of the range.
