Whether you know her as Leighton from Sex Lives of College Girls, Regina George from the Broadway adaptation of Mean Girls, or from her recently explosive solo music career, Reneé Rapp has undoubtedly been on one of your screens as of late. Becoming both a performing arts and social media sensation, Rapp has amassed millions of fans worldwide. Tonight, the 23-year-old took to the VMAs red carpet rocking a sleek, black look and her gorgeous blonde strands down, but the star of the show was her glowing skin courtesy of this $19 face oil.
Reneé Rapp’s red carpet skin-prep routine
We all know skin prep is the key to a look that stuns all night long, and celebrity Loren Canby turned to Bubble Skincare to ensure that the “Snow Angel” singer was shining from red carpet to after party. Canby started her prep by removing any excess makeup from the skin with the Wipe Out Makeup Remover ($14) before going in with the Break Even Balancing Toner ($16) to help even and smooth the skin, creating an impeccable base for makeup.
Next, Canby gave Rapp’s skin some hydration with the Cloud Surf Water Cream Moisturizer ($16) before going in with the star of the singer’s glowing base: Float On Soothing Facial Oil ($19). This “calming, lightweight facial oil” is a great base product as it “protects and rejuvenates your skin barrier for hydrated, softer, more nourished-looking skin.” To finish off the look and ensure Rapp’s skin stayed radiant all evening long, Canby spritzed on some of the Bounce Back Balancing Toner Mist ($13) before sending the North Carolina native off to hair and makeup.
