ColourPop Feelin’ Toasty Palette Review & Swatches

ColourPop Feelin’ Toasty 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.32 oz.) is a new, permanent palette for Target featuring a warm-toned color story (it leaned peach/orange). Three of the shimmers were underwhelming as they were more loosely-pressed and prone to fallout, though the mattes were pigmented, lightly powdery, and blendable. Baked Goods is a light gold with warmer, peachy undertones and a sparkling sheen. Sheer pigmentation More loosely-pressed, slightly dry Best applied with a dampened brush, some fallout Average-wearing (7 hours before fading visibly) Slow Burn is a light, yellowed peach with strong, warm undertones and a sparkle-matte finish. Natasha Denona Love Cheek & Eye Palette Review & Swatches

Natasha Denona Love Face Palette ($62.00 for 0.5 oz.) is a new, seemingly-permanent palette that includes five eyeshadows, one cream blush, and one powder highlighter. The cheek products also have a small, plastic lid that prevents powders from getting into the cream blush, which is always a nice touch. Overall, the eyeshadows were lovely to work with except for Esme, which I found oddly stiff/firm and thinner compared to most of the brand’s matte eyeshadows. Both the cream blush and highlighter performed as expected. Esme (473CM) is a dark pink with cooler undertones and a matte finish. Semi-opaque, buildable coverage Continue Reading…

ColourPop Peach Out Palette Review & Swatches

ColourPop Peach Out 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.32 oz.) is a new, permanent addition to the brand’s presence at Target. The palette contained three shimmers and six mattes across a very warm-toned, peach/orange-hued color story. While I had trouble with one shade in particular (Peach Me), the quality of the remaining shades was consistent with ColourPop’s formulas: the shimmers were pigmented, blendable, and easy enough to use, while the mattes were pigmented, lightly powdery, and blendable. Peach Me is a light-medium, yellowed peach with strong, warm undertones and a sparkle-matte finish. Medium color coverage Slightly firm, harder to Continue Reading…
